Community god event kickoff - Worship almost 100% funded!!

All right, we don’t know where to start because of how excited we are, so let’s go with this: WOW you guys are amazing!
We are just entering the second day and worship is already more than 90% funded! The reception WORSHIP is having as we write this is humbling and terribly exciting for the team. I actually had to go back to and rewrite parts of this update because so much is happening so fast. Bottom line is we want to thank you all for your overwhelming support, it means the world to us.
You surely noticed the stretch goals monument slowly building up on the campaign page. The bloody runes will turn into a readable stretch goal upon the funding of the game and the monument will continue to expand, every time with a tease of the goal following the current one.
Here are some highlights of the campaign so far:
- 700+ Backers and going up!
- 3 Elder gods backers already!?!
- Reddit absolutely loves WORSHIP, currently hot on r/all !
- Awesome articles on medias like: Bloody Disgusting, Hardcore Gamer and more!
- And other stuff! But now I need to talk about the next big thing before going off-track:
Time to kick off the Community God event
During the Kickstarter campaign, the community will piece together a (new) old god that will appear in the game! Since one of the main goals of this campaign is to build a community for WORSHIP, we figured that letting you guys birth a new god during the campaign would be amazing. This new god will be put together by 4 defining aspects:
1. God name, title and lore
2. God physical appearance
3. Cult playstyle and Signature ritual(s)
4. Cultists and followers skins
Head over to WORSHIP’s community Discord to get all there is to know about the event on the #ks-god-infos channel. It’s now time to reveal the official Chasing Rats entries for the first category: God name, title and lore. Our artist couldn't resist to add a little bit of art to these, enjoy:

I hope this makes you want to channel your devotion towards the old god by submitting your own entry for the category #1. Contest.
Rules and guidelines for the contest are detailed in the #ks-god-infos channel. Have a chance for your entry to be added alongside the official ones in the community god voting polls for first category that opens on March 14th. If your entry is selected you also win a physical copy of Worship!
